John Davidson MBE To Receive Our Lifetime Achievement Award

We are delighted to announce that at our fifth annual Neurodiverse Review Awards, John Davidson will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony which takes place every year in the last week of the fringe, champions disabled-led work at the Fringe across 8 categories. It also recognises important figures in our culture that have contributed to disability activism and artistry.

“John has given his life to educating the public about Tourette’s. He’s had to endure ignorance and hate from many quarters, often responding with a quiet dignity our society isn’t owed. Since the publication of his memoir and its film adaptation, a whole new generation has felt seen, and John continues to support other people with Tourette’s, as well as raising awareness across the UK and beyond.” – Editor Simon Jay.

Previous award winners of the Lifetime Achievement Award have included comedian Paul Sinha and disabled-led theatre company Lung Ha.
